While security and public safety is our
top priority, we strive to offer you a positive travel experience
on your journey through John Wayne Airport. Our facility
is kept up to high standards and we continuously work on modernizing
our services.
Airport Information Booths are located
in the Baggage Claim areas (lower level) across from Carousels 2, 3 and 6. John Wayne Airport employees are available to answer Airport-
or tourism-related questions.
Customer Relations may be reached for assistance by dialing "0" from any White Courtesy Phone or by calling (949) 252-5200.
Ambassadors or "red coats" volunteer their
time to assist our travelers. John Wayne Airport Ambassadors are stationed
on the Departure (upper) Level during the busiest travel times and provide Airport users with friendly, knowledgeable service. Ambassadors are trained in customer service and are available to answer questions and give directions to travelers. (Volunteer Program Information)
Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) are located near Gate 7 in Terminal A, near Gate 10 in Terminal B, and near Gate 17 in Terminal C. ATMs are also located in Baggage Claim on the Arrival (lower) Level near Carousels 1, 4 and 6/7. (Terminal Map)
Baggage Claim is located on the
Arrival (lower) Level of Terminals A, B and C. From the gates,
Baggage Claim areas are easily accessible by escalator, elevator or stairs. The escalators and stairs
are adjacent to the security checkpoints, while the
elevators
are located near the Terminal exit doors.
- Airlines
in Terminal A utilize Baggage Carousels 1 and 2. The oversized baggage pickup is located behind Carousel 2. Airline Baggage Claim offices are located near Carousel 1.
- Airlines
in Terminal B utilize
Baggage Carousels 3 and 4. The oversized baggage pickup is
located behind Carousel 3. Airline Baggage Claim offices are located near Carousel 4.
- Airlines
in Terminal C utilize
Baggage Carousels 5, 6 and 7. The oversized baggage pickup is
located behind Carousel 6. Airline Baggage Claim offices are located near Carousel 5. Please note that international travelers arriving from Mexico claim their bags at Baggage Carousel 7.

location for passenger pick-up.

"SmarteCartes" are conveniently placed throughout the Terminal, and are available to rent. There is a 25-cent award for returning a SmarteCarte after use. SmarteCartes are allowed through the security checkpoints. Acceptable payment for the SmarteCarte is cash or credit
card.
John Wayne Airport invites military service members to utilize the USO at the Airport. Located in Thomas F. Riley Terminal B, on the Arrival (lower) Level next to Baggage Carousel 4, the Bob Hope USO at John Wayne Airport features a stocked canteen, movies and video games, travel assistance and Wi-Fi at no cost to troops and eligible guests. Active and reserve members and their dependents are welcome, as well as military retirees on a space available basis.
The USO Center is open 365 days a year from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Airline Ticket Counters are available for check-in services on the Departure (upper) Level.

Curbside check-in is provided by skycaps at the main entrances to the Riley Terminal.

Self check-in kiosks are available throughout the
ticket counter lobby. Each airline has kiosks available close to their ticket
counter. Avoid long lines and speed up your travel!
Web check-in is another option provided by most airlines. Visit your airline's website and print your boarding pass in the comfort of your home or office. With this boarding pass you may proceed directly to the security screening checkpoints if you have no checked luggage.
A variety of food and specialty item concessions are located throughout Terminals A, B
and C. While the majority of the concessions are located in the secure area of the Terminals (only accessible to visitors with a boarding pass), snack shops and news stores are available for all visitors on the Departure (upper) Level near the ticket counter areas

John Wayne Airport does not offer currency exchange services.

Electrical power outlets are available in most gate areas between
the backs of the passenger seating rows.
Work stations are also available throughout
the Terminal C gate areas. These services
are offered at no cost to travelers.
John Wayne Airport, in partnership with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), offers Global Entry to pre-approved, low-risk travelers arriving into Orange County from international destinations for expedited CBP clearance.
Please note that John Wayne Airport is not a Global Entry Enrollment Center.

John Wayne Airport offers a variety of Ground Transportation
services.
Rental Cars - Counters are located on the Arrival (lower) Level
between the two Baggage Claim areas of Terminals A and B. The rental car pick-up
and
drop-off area for on-site rental car companies is on the lower
level of the Ground Transportation Center.
Hotel Shuttles - Some local hotels provide courtesy shuttles to and from John Wayne Airport. (List of Hotels with Shuttle Service)
Taxis and Door-to-Door Shuttles - Reservations for taxi
or shuttle transportation are not needed. These services are
offered in the Ground Transportation
Center, which can be easily reached by crossing the signal light
near the John Wayne Statue, located between Terminals A and B. Taxi or shuttle coordinators are
available for assistance with transportation needs. Should you require a wheelchair
accessible van, it is highly recommended to make reservations in advance. (Ground Transportation)

This service is provided at no charge and is available daily from 6 am – 11 pm.
Airport passengers are encouraged to arrive at the Airport 90 minutes to 2 hours prior to their scheduled departure to allow ample time for parking and to complete check-in and the security screening process.

Mailboxes are not available at John Wayne
Airport.
John Wayne Airport offers traveling mothers a Nursing Mother’s Lounge as a quiet private space to pump milk or nurse their babies. The lounge is located in Terminal B between Gates 11 and 12 featuring amenities that include comfortable seating, a sink, a changing table, adjustable lighting and artwork made up of Orange County student art entries from JWA’s annual aviation-themed student art contest.
John Wayne Airport offers central passenger paging to locate a person within Terminals A, B and C. To request a page you may use any White Courtesy Phone in Terminals A, B
or C, and dial "0" for Customer Relations, or you may call (949) 252-5200.
JWA travelers who are accompanied by service animals or family pets can now enjoy the convenience of an
Animal Relief Area while at the Airport.

Animal Relief Areas are available at the Airport and can be found on the Arrival (lower) Level outside of Terminal A near the entrance to Parking Structure A1, outside of Terminal C near the entrance to Parking Structure C and on the secure side of the Terminal near Gates 12 and 13. Owners are asked to clean up after their animals, using the waste disposal bags and receptacle provided.
Please be advised that - with the exception of service animals - uncaged animals are not allowed in the Terminal.
Pay Phones with data ports are available throughout the
Riley Terminal in
the Concourse, Ticket Counter and Baggage Claim areas.
White Courtesy Telephones are located
throughout the Riley Terminal. These phones can be used to respond
to an overhead page, to request a page for a missing party or
for any questions or
concerns you may have. To make outgoing phone calls,
please use pay phones.
Airport Police Services provide general Airport
security.
Baggage screening and security screening
checkpoints are under the jurisdiction of the Transportation
Security Administration

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Pre✓® program is also available to eligible passengers traveling domestically flying on participating airlines, as well as those who are members of CBP Trusted Traveler programs, including Global Entry, SENTRI and NEXUS.

The TSA Pre✔® Enrollment Center at John Wayne Airport is located on the Arrival (lower) Level of Terminal C, across from the Airport Information Booth, next to the U.S. Customs exit. While walk-ins may be accommodated, travelers are encouraged to pre-enroll and/or make an appointment online at www.TSA.gov or by contacting the Universal Enrollment Services Call Center at 855-DHS-UES1 (855-347-8371) Monday through Friday from 8 am to 10 pm (ET). The on-site Enrollment Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm (closed 11:00 am–11:30 am), and Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm (closed 11:00 am–11:30 am).
JWA is pleased to provide free wireless internet access to passengers throughout the concourses, lounges and concession areas of JWA’s Thomas F. Riley Terminal. Passengers wishing to access the free service should look for JWAFREEWIFI in their device's available wireless networks list.
